Social Security Administration (SSA) Real-Time Matching
Users who have a Social Security number will experience real-time matching with the SSA when creating a StudentAid.gov account and when updating their personal information in their account settings. Previously, users would have to wait one to three business days before being verified with the SSA.
Users who don't have verified accounts will have limited access to forms and applications on StudentAid.gov until they complete verification.
